Linear Contracts worked closely with and supported Pickering’s Loading Systems.

Due to it being a DC with heavy continual traffic, it was a priority to ensure H&S and site traffic were operational and disruption was minimal for the client.

Issue – 15 loading bays were out of operation due to badly damaged concrete surrounds and unstable dock levelers following impact and wear and tear.

Priority works to ensure all these loading bays would be fully operational within 7 weeks.

Total qty of bays to be repaired – 15

SCOPE OF WORKS

Remove buffers and any electrical sockets and supplies prior to breaking out.

Break away damaged concrete (1pr biscuits per bay). Leaving existing rebar in place.

Add new 16mm steel dowels if required to the floor and sides for added strength

Build timber shuttering to form concrete (match existing sizes and shapes)

Pour c35 to form concrete and leave to a smooth finish.
